Slick roads cause more than 100 accidents

36-year-old Bend man dies at scene of two-car accident

Cars slid through intersections, zig-zagged on ice, and plowed into trees and other cars in Bend Saturday, as yet another snowstorm covered Central Oregon.

By 4 p.m., Deschutes 911 had counted more than 100 accidents including a serious two-car collision on Highway 97 near milepost 145.
