Bachelor will open lifts Saturday

Storm dumped 18 inches on the mountain over the past two days

Two days of heavy snow will have Mount Bachelor crews firing up the chairlifts at 8 a.m. Saturday, and more snow is expected this weekend and through the early part of next week.

The mountain received 18 inches of new snow over the past two days " 10 inches since Thanksgiving morning alone.....
