Bend firefighters deliver money, support to their colleagues in New York City

Emergency workers share a kinship

Two Bend firefighters got the chance to pay final respects to their fallen brethren at Ground Zero in New York City and, in the process, deliver money, supplies, crisis counseling and the condolences of the people back home to those still searching the rubble for bodies.
