Owners say Parkway draws tourists away

Parkway Chevron owner Cynthia Ratzman said her full-service station is so close to the Bend Parkway, she could throw a rock at the Reed Market exit sign.

But despite the proximity, her sales have dropped by nearly half since the entire 7.2-mile Parkway opened Aug. 29.
