Crooked River residents vote down sheep removal

Officials had planned to reintroduce the bighorn

By a more than 2-to-1 ratio, Crooked River Ranch residents voted against permitting the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to trap and remove feral herds of mouflon sheep that currently inhabit the Deschutes River Canyon.
