Officials recommend hepatitis vaccine

Hepatitis A can spread quickly in classrooms and day care centers

Students headed back to school this fall are required to get shots to protect against diseases ranging from chicken pox to the measles.

But they may be missing out on an important vaccine that can protect against one of the fastest spreading diseases on the West Coast: hepatitis A.
