Crane Prairie Complex fires may be contained by tonight

Thunderstorms are predicted later in the week

The largest of the 14 Crane Prairie Complex fires grew to about 720 acres on Wednesday due to gusty winds and more precise mapping, but officials remain confident the blaze should be contained tonight.

"We're closing in on it," said fire information officer Jon Stewart.
