St. Charles sees record number of births

High number of marriages likely caused the record

The maternity floor at St. Charles Medical Center was hopping last month as the hospital delivered a record number of babies.

Records show 140 babies were born at the Bend hospital in July, topping the previous record of 133 established in May 2000.
