Diamond is losing its luster

Diamond Lake was named for its crystalline blue water.

Right now, it's green, and long-time anglers at the once highly renowned Cascade Mountain trout lake, located about 75 miles southwest of Bend in eastern Douglas County, are passing through all shades of colors.
