The calm after the firestorm in the Mill Creek Wilderness

Last summer, the Mill Creek Wilderness east of Prineville was engulfed in a firestorm. More than 18,000 acres burned in the Hash Rock Fire, most within the boundaries of the 22,000-acre wilderness.
