No, it wasn't the uniforms.
Bend High broke out the old gold jerseys Friday for the first game of a key three-game baseball series with Hermiston. But more importantly, the Lava Bears broke out their bats.
Back-to-back home runs by Dusty Eide and Mychal Wagner in the second inning got the Bears....
