New Bend Senior Center construction under way

The new Bend Senior Center is beginning to take shape.

Last week, crews worked on the forms in preparation for pouring the foundation of the 14,000-square-foot facility on 2 acres of Larkspur Park sometime this week. The project is expected to be finished by the end of October.
