When Carole Martinson stopped to fill her gas tank in Bend on Friday, she said she was surprised to see that the price of gasoline was higher in Central Oregon than it was in her hometown of Tigard.
Martinson said the rising cost of driving her car has already inspired her to use Portland's bus....
