Dallas Quick, COCC music founder, dies at 78

The founding father of Central Oregon Community College's music program has died.

Dallas D. Quick died Sunday from cancer at the home of one of his former voice students, Michelle Doty (Dearth) of Terrebonne.

He was 78.

At his request, no service will be held.
