Last year set new heights for The Dalles-based Columbia Bancorp (Nasdaq: CBBO).

Columbia reported net income for the year ending Dec. 31, 2000, of $5.6 million, or 70 cents per diluted share. That is a 12.9 percent increase over the previous year of $5 million, or 62 cents....
