Ridding your lot of debris is best step to prevent fires

The fire last summer started when a bird was electrocuted by a power line. It burst into flames and dropped to the tinder dry grass below, and before firefighters brought the blaze under control a few hours later, it had spread to 5 acres, with flames up to 15 feet high.
