Lindsey Bingham is pushing the limits of her situation, causing Lucile Packard Children's Hospital to revise policies. At least for her. Lindsey, 8, is awaiting a heart transplant at the hospital in Palo Alto, Calif. She has dilated cardiomyopathy, which means her heart is enlarged and cannot properly do its job.
