EUGENE — Summit's distance runners are at it again. Storm freshman Hannah Gindlesperger won the girls 3,000 meters Friday and her teammates Matthew Maton and Eric Alldritt went 1-2 in the boys 3K to highlight the first day of the Class 5A state track and field championships at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field. Maton's time of 8 minutes, 28.62 seconds shattered the old 5A state-meet....MORE
