Patience pays in Stage 5, Dominique Rollin leads a breakaway group on Saturday afternoon during Stage 5 of the Cascade Cycling Classic. The eventual winner, Moises Aldape, is directly behind Rollin. The stage took riders into the Cascade Mountains, finishing at Mount Bachelor.

CCC’s home stretch, Riders in the pro men’s division of the Cascade Cycling Classic cruise down Northwest Mt. Washington Drive on Sunday during the final stage of the event, the Awbrey Butte Circuit Race. 
Ricardo Escuela won the sixth and final stage, while Levi Leipheimer held on for the overall victory. Sunday’s 83-mile circuit race wrapped up five days of racing throughout Central Oregon. 
Leipheimer won the pro men’s division by 2 minutes and 35 seconds over Jeff Louder. Kristin Armstrong placed first in the overall pro women’s standings, defeating runner-up Christine Thorburn by 5:57. 
Leipheimer, Armstrong and Thorburn will all represent the U.S. at next month’s Olympic Games.
