Northwest Forest Pass

Required at National Forest trailheads, rustic camping areas, picnic areas, boat launches and visitor centers in Oregon and Washington. Accepted at Columbia River Gorge state park day-use fee areas. Annual: $30/vehicle; day passes also available. Covers hiking, "rustic" camping, boating, picnicking and some visitor information services. To purchase, click link or call 1-800-270-7504.

Oregon State Parks Day Use Pass

Required at 26 Oregon state parks with day-use fees, including the popular Smith Rocks State Park. Annual: $25; 2 years: $40; $3/day. Covers parking and day-use activities. To purchase, call 1-800-551-6949, or visit Oregon Park and Recreation District offices, and private vendors such as sporting goods stores.

Boater Pass

The National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass

For use at USFS, National Park Service (NPS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Fish and Wildlife service (USFWS) day-use fee areas, it replaces the Golden Eagle Passport. Annual: $80/vehicle. Golden Age Passport

Must be at least 62 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to purchase. Can be used at U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service day-use fee areas; 50% discount at campgrounds, developed boat launces and swim areas, and specialized interpretive tours and services. Cost: $10/lifetime. Admits holder, spouse and children. Covers picnicking, hiking, parking, visitor/interpretive centers, camping, boat launching, swimming, interpretive tours and services, concessionaire services. Golden Access Passport

Available only to the permanently disabled. Can be used at USFS, NPS, BLM, and USFWS day-use fee areas; 50% discount at campgrounds, developed boat launces and swim areas, and specialized interpretive tours and services. No cost. Oregon Sno-Park Permit

Required at "Winter Recreation Areas" parking areas from Nov. 15 - Apr. 30. Annual: $15/vehicle; $7 for 3-day pass; $3/day. Covers parking for Sno-park areas for nordic skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling. To purchase, visit Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles offices; resorts, sporting goods stores and other retail outlets.

National Parks Pass

Required for admission to Crater Lake National Park, Oregon Caves National Monument and Fort Clatsop. Annual cost: $50/vehicle. Covers all day-use activities.To purchase, call 1-877-465-2727, visit national parks, or purchase online at https://buy.nationalparks.org.

Oregon Pacific Coast Passport

Required at OPRD, USFS, NPS, BLM and 17 coastal day-use fee areas. Annual: $35/vehicle; $10/5 days. Covers all day-use activities. To purchase, call 1-800-551-6949; also available at many coastal state parks.
