Golf Resorts

Sunriver Resort south of Bend offers hotel rooms, condos and single-family vacation rental homes. In addition to golf and dining, the resort offers a landing strip, bike trails, swimming pools, horseback riding, a spa, shopping area and a wide range of activities and events, including concerts.

Black Butte Ranch in the Sisters area offers vacation rental homes and condos, two golf courses, two fitness centers, tennis, bike trails, spa, horseback riding, swimming and dining.

Eagle Crest Resort west of Redmond offers vacation rental homes and condos as well as hotel rooms. There are three golf courses and a pro shop. Its conference center hosts events and business meetings. There's a shopping center, indoor sports facility, restaurants and outdoor swimming pools, as well as bike trails and a river trail.

Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte, northeast of Bend, offers upscale suites and one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The resort includes a golf course, pro shop, clubhouse, athletic club, pool, the Blue Olive restaurant and equestrian center, as well as trails.

Other resorts

Five Pine Lodge, nestled in tall ponderosa pines in Sisters, offers 32 cottage and lodge rooms. Room rates include use of the Sisters Athletic Club in the Five Pine complex, which also includes a conference center, Shibui Spa, Chloe restaurant, and Three Creeks Brewing brew pub.

The Lodge at Suttle Lake offers lodge rooms and cabins with full kitchens; pets are permitted in some of the cabins. Amenities include the Boathouse restaurant, marina, boat moorage and hiking trails.

Cultus Lake Resort in the Deschutes National Forest offers 23 cabins in the woods along the mountain lake. Pets are permitted for an extra fee. Amenities include a restaurant, tackle shop, beaches, and boat rentals.
