Dave and Lorene (Schneider) Houston, of Bend, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip to Orlando, Fla. and plan to have a reception this summer.
The couple were married March 22, 1953, in Elwood, Neb. They have four children, Connie (and Bob) Stratton, Dave (and Leslie), Lori (and Joe) Buchanan, all of Bend, and Kim (and Misti), of Long Beach, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Houston owned and operated DLH Construction and Mrs. Houston is a homemaker. The couple enjoy volunteering at Westside Church, traveling and spending time with family.
They have lived in Central Oregon for 20 years.
