Black Butte launches program - Black Butte Ranch is beginning an instructional program based on the PGA of America’s “Get Golf Ready" program aimed at attracting adults into golf “in a fast, fun, affordable way," the resort announced. The program includes a series of five introductory lessons offered by Black Butte Ranch’s PGA professionals in a small-group environment. The lessons target adults who have limited or no experience with the sport, providing basic skills instruction as well as information regarding the background of the game’s rules, etiquette and values, Black Butte Ranch says. The first Get Golf Ready series at Black Butte Ranch runs for five consecutive Thursdays, beginning April 18, or five consecutive Saturdays beginning, April 20.
