The former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, in the West Bank, will speak about Middle East peace at 7 p.m. today at The Sound Garden, 1279 N.E. Second St., Bend.
The talk is free, but donations are accepted. It is sponsored by the Beth Israel Messianic Prayer Center and Zion Pathways.
Speaker David Rubin is the founder and president of the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund, which he established to help child victims of terrorist attacks after he and his young son were injured in such an attack. He is the author of three books on Israel, according to a news release.
