Donald Keith Owen of Redmond, Oregon, died March 3, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born August 20, 1931 in Myrtle Point, OR to John and Ollie (Ray) Owen. On May 1, 1955, Don married Vonnie Van Tassel in Redmond. Don worked for the Seventh Day Adventist Church as a Christian Book Salesman until his retirement.
Don is survived by his wife, Vonnie Owen; sons, Keith of Salem, OR, Kim of Redmond, OR and Keryl of Kent, WA; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in his name may be made to Oregon Adventist Men's Chorus c/o East Salem Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5575 Fruitland Rd. NE, Salem OR 97317-3334.
