A small fire on the wooden deck of a northeast Bend home was extinguished early Tuesday, according to the Bend Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at 2824 Baroness Place just before 8:30 a.m. The residents of the house were not home, and total damage to the deck was estimated at $200.
Firefighters believe a charcoal briquette barbecue started the fire.
