Season tees off — The Central Oregon golf tournament season begins this weekend with the region’s first professional golf tournament. The 2013 Kah-Nee-Ta Spring Invitational tees off today at the Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort golf course near Warm Springs. The two-day pro-am will feature 15 pros from golf clubs all around Oregon, including two pros from Central Oregon. The tournament, which is split into two 18-hole rounds and includes team and individual competitions, is scheduled to begin today with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Sunday’s final round is also scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Spectators are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
