A Utah man was arrested east of Bend last week after police found 16 pounds of marijuana in his car, the Oregon State Police said.
Jarred Ron Bowers, 36, was arrested during a traffic stop along U.S. Highway 20 east of Bend. Police stopped Bowers’ Toyota Corolla for equipment and lane use violations, the OSP said.
Police discovered an estimated $35,000 worth of marijuana in the trunk of Bowers’ car, according to the OSP. He was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful manufacture, possession and distribution of marijuana.
