Deschutes County is seeking nominations for its annual Health Hero awards, which recognize county residents, businesses and organizations that advocate for health initiatives.
A Health Hero may have been instrumental in developing health policies, or has worked to promote better health in the community. The person or entity may have worked on efforts for mental, physical, spiritual or social health.
The nomination deadline is 5 p.m. Friday via email. The awards will be determined March 27.
