Barbara was born and raised in a small community on the Oregon Coast, "up Fiddle Creek" she fondly called it. She then lived many years in Southern Oregon until moving to Madras in 1964.
She alsobecame a snowbird spending 21 winters enjoying the sunshine and wonderful friends in Florence, AZ.
Barb was creative, a gracious hostess, loyal friend, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her retirement, she enjoyed visiting family and had recently become proficient at texting to keep in touch. Her other passion was playing cards, but as much for the friendships as the cards.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bob; three children, Bruce Victorin (Linda), Janet Morris (Paul) and Trudy Martin (Bill); seven grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 2, 1:00 p.m. at Culver Christian Church, 501 4th Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
