MBSEF team sets fundraiser

Published: February 15. 2013 4:00AM PST

The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation freeride competition team is staging its fourth annual Snow2Flow fundraiser on Saturday in Sunriver.

The event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at Mavericks at Sunriver, is being used to help the MBSEF freeride competition team raise funds for the upcoming United States of America Snowboard Association national championships in Colorado and other MBSEF costs.

On Saturday, MBSEF team members will each take five attempts riding Mavericks’ FlowRider (surf machine) and each rider’s times will be added together to form his or her cumulative time. Donors may pledge a flat fee for a rider or they can pledge at a rate per second spent on the FlowRider.

Those interested in making a donation can contact MBSEF at 541-388-0002 or reach MBSEF freeride program director Coggin Hill at chill@mbsef.org.
