Sisters Movie House hosts Caldera artist

Published: February 15. 2013 4:00AM PST

Each month in the winter, Caldera Arts Center near Sisters offers a handful of artists monthlong residencies, and Portland animator Joanna Priestley is one of Caldera’s February Artists in Residence.

Priestley previously did a residency at Caldera in 2005.

While she’s back in the area, Sisters Movie House (720 Desperado Court) will host a retrospective screening of her work at 7 p.m. Thursday. The evening will include all of Priestley’s acclaimed recent works, including “Choking Hazard" (2012), “Dear Pluto" (2012), “Eye Liner" (2011), “Missed Aches" (2009) and her newest film, “Split Ends" (2013) and others.

Tickets are $10.
