Room taxes collected in the city of Bend in December increased 11 percent over December 2011, according to data from Visit Bend, the city’s tourism promotion agency. And for the fiscal year so far, lodging tax collections have increased nearly 8 percent over the first six months of fiscal year 2011-12, according to the figures.
