The City Club of Central Oregon has appointed Eli Ashley to serve as the 2013 board president, taking over from last year’s president, Don Stevens.
Ashley, who moved from Tacoma, Wash., to Bend in 2005, served as the executive director of the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts in Tacoma and as executive director for Bend’s Tower Theatre Foundation.
He has 30 years of experience working with capital campaigns, public-nonprofit partnerships and volunteer committees.
