6 p.m. on CNN, CNBC, FNC2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, ‘‘State of the Union 2013’’ — With his final campaign for office behind him, President Barack Obama appears before Congress to deliver the first State of the Union address of his second term.

8 p.m. on 6, ‘‘NCIS: Los Angeles’’ — Season 3 ended with a showdown between Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and the Chameleon, and the current season picked up where that left off, with Callen on suspension and Hetty (Linda Hunt) trying to adjust to retirement. If you’ve watched the show since then, of course, you know neither of those lasted long. LL Cool J and Daniela Ruah also star in ‘‘Endgame.’’

9 p.m. on 7, ‘‘John D. Rockefeller: American Experience’’ — For decades, the Rockefeller name was despised in America, associated with John D. Rockefeller Sr.’s feared monopoly, Standard Oil. By the end of his life, Rockefeller had given away half his fortune, but even his philanthropy couldn’t erase the memory of his predatory business practices. His only son, John D. Rockefeller Jr., dedicated his life to recasting the family image. Junior gave away hundreds of millions and insisted his children behave impeccably.

9 p.m. on BRAVO, ‘‘The Face’’ — The competition begins in the new supermodel search as 12 aspiring catwalkers move into an ultraposh loft and compete in a test shoot led by coach Naomi Campbell. Campbell’s fellow models Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha also coach contestants. Photographer Nigel Barker hosts the series.

9 p.m. on TRAV, ‘‘Edge of America’’ — What’s wilder than a running of the bulls? How about a running of the bulls with roller derby girls? That’s one of the adventures Geoff experiences in the Sunshine State in the new episode ‘‘The Edge of Florida.’’ He also tries his hand at alligator wrestling and, in a nice change from all those other brutal pursuits, goes swimming with mermaids.

10 p.m. on FOOD, ‘‘Chopped’’ — The returning winners who made it through the preliminary challenges have one last chance at a third victory in ‘‘Chopped Champions: Finale.’’ To get there, they have to survive a challenge involving baked goods, create something delicious with sea snails, and turn carrot juice and honeycomb into a yummy dessert.
