A rundown of games and events to watch for locally and nationally from the world of sports:
Tuesday
NBA, Portland Trail Blazers at Miami Heat, 4:30 p.m. (Comcast SportsNet Northwest) — How will Portland match up with the defending champs on South Beach? The Blazers actually beat Miami 92-90 in January. Right now Portland is staying in the mix for a playoff spot in the Western Conference, while Miami is holding down the top spot in the East.
Wednesday
Men’s college basketball, North Carolina at No. 4 Duke, 6 p.m. (ESPN) — Usually, both the Tar Heels and the Blue Devils are ranked when they hook up in the regular season. But while Duke has been hanging around the top five, North Carolina isn’t having a typical season. But the most heated rivalry in college basketball will likely be one to watch, no matter what the rankings are.

Hood Community College in Gresham — Summit will attempt to defend its Class 5A boys and girls state titles and will be joined by representatives from Bend High and Mountain View.
