Brew for dogs now on tap

Finn, a pointer Lab mix owned by Melanie Brent, was one of about 30 dogs who lapped up a bowl of Dawg Grog, a Bend-made nonalcoholic brew for canine companions, fresh from a tap during a release event Monday evening at The Riverside Market & Pub.

The store is the first in Central Oregon and the world to have the canine brew on tap, accompanying its 13 other taps for beer, hard cider and Kombucha tea, said server Chris Neal. Riverside Market loves dogs, he said. Serving the brew, created by Bend resident Daniel Keeton, will make the market an even more dog-friendly place.
