Bend Police reports its detectives are investigating a suspicious death at a home on the city east side.
Police said David Andrew Ryder, 31, died of an apparent gunshot wound at 20753 Will Scarlet Lane, a home, according to Google Maps, fronting the Central Oregon Canal. Police arrived at the address around 2:30 a.m. in response to a call that someone there had been shot, according to Bend Police Lt. Ben Gregory.
Ryder was a guest at the home, according to Gregory.
Bend Police and the Oregon State Police Crime Lab are investigating.
