LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships will now be a one-day competition due to Ohio River flood projections, meaning Bend rider Ryan Trebon will race a day earlier than expected.
Race organizers on Friday compacted the two-day race schedule into one, with all races now planned for today. The men’s elite race, in which Trebon is scheduled to compete, was originally scheduled for Sunday. It will now take place today at 2:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. Pacific). A live stream of the race is scheduled to be shown at www.louisville2013.com.
