The Family Resource Center is offering a free parenting class in Redmond called “Make Parenting a Pleasure," where parents, grandparents and care providers of children ages 8 and younger can explore the latest parenting techniques, learn how to set limits, find positive approaches to discipline and help children prepare for success in school. The 10 weekly sessions are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting Feb. 5., at Vern Patrick Elementary School, 3001 S.W. Obsidian Ave., in Redmond.
