Tetherow Academy opening includes demo day —TaylorMade will be hosting a free demo day at Tetherow Golf Club in Bend on Saturday, Feb. 2, as part of the grand opening celebration for The Tetherow Golf Academy building. The event, led by Mike Lewis, the academy’s director of instruction, will include demos of TaylorMade equipment including the company’s new r1 driver, which goes on sale to the public on the same day. Open to the public, the event includes appetizers, beverages, samples of TaylorMade Lethal golf balls, and a drawing for an r1 driver and Adidas golf shoes.
