Jesus “Chucho" Castillo, 68: Mexican bantamweight champion celebrated in Los Angeles for four epic title fights between 1968 and 1971. Died Tuesday at a Mexico City hospital.
Prospero Gallinari, 62: Member of terrorist group the Red Brigades who was convicted in the kidnapping and assassination in 1978 of Italian prime minister Aldo Moro. Died Monday.
Yang Baibing, 93: Chinese military strongman who carried out the violent suppression of student-led protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989 and was later purged because of fears that he was accruing too much power. Died Tuesday.
