Allison Hamstreet, of Phoenix, and William Stafford, of Scottsdale, Ariz., were married Aug. 4 at Eagle Crest in Redmond with a reception following in the High Desert room.
The bride is the daughter of the late Larry Hamstreet and Richard and Mary Read, of Redmond. She is a 1982 graduate of Oregon School for the Deaf, attended Chemeketa Community College and graduated from American River College in Sacramento, Calif. where she studied business and computer programming. She works as an assistant teacher of American Sign Language in Phoenix.
The groom is the son of the late William Stafford, Sr., and Goldie and Robert Feller, of Scottsdale. He is a 1957 graduate of Pomona High School in Pomona, Calif., and a graduate of Nazarene College in Azusa, Calif., where he studied business. He is the co-owner of Flexground Safety Surfacing in Scottsdale.
The couple plan to honeymoon on a tropical cruise this winter.
They will settle in Scottsdale.
