Local individuals who are interested in finding a volunteer opportunity may want to check out an upcoming volunteer expo at the Downtown Bend Public Library on Jan. 27.
The event, Know Volunteers — Volunteer Expo, will take place from noon to 3 p.m. It will feature 20 local agencies who are looking for volunteers.
The representatives will be able to answer questions from potential volunteers. Groups include Habitat for Humanity and the Central Oregon Council on Aging and many more.
The event is open the public and free. It will take place in the Brooks Room at the library, located at 601 N.W. Wall St., Bend.
