Juniper Swim & Fitness Center is building a new functional fitness space, with construction scheduled through Feb. 20.
The anticipated 850-square-foot space will provide visitors with a room for stretching and functional training, such as with mats, balls, tubing and other devices, expanding the workout space of the current Bend fitness center.
The room will replace staff changing rooms and offices, which will relocate to the other side of the building.
