Jake’s Diner is collecting coats, blankets, sleeping bags and food for its annual Middle of the Winter food and clothing drive. People can drop off donated items — which will be given to homeless veterans through Central Oregon Veteran’s Outreach — at the restaurant, at 2210 N.E. U.S. Highway 20 in Bend.
