Richard L. Peebles of Redmond, Oregon, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Services were held at Redmond Community Church on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, by Pastor Curtis Tucker.
Richard was born July 1, 1938, in Belleview Illinois. At the age of 7 his family relocated to San Diego, CA.
Richard was married to Barbara Collins in 1956. Together they had five children and moved their family to Salinas, CA, in 1959. Richard retired to Redmond, OR, in 1998.
He worked throughout his life as a beverage distributer.
Rich was a member of Crooked River Golf & Country Club. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at BBQ's and playing horseshoes. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and Rodeo - the cowboy lifestyle.
He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Cheryl), Kenneth, and Richard Jr., daughters, Theresa (Bob) Sailors, and Michelle (Steve) Davis; 10 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; brothers, William, Samuel, James, Johnny, Bobby, and sisters, Carol and Susie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Peebles.
