Susan Gene Jones of Bend, Oregon, passed away on January 1, 2013, at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. She was 73.
Susan was born October 25, 1939, in Oakland, CA. She has made her home in Bend since 1963.
Susan spent many years working as a volunteer coordinator for the State of Oregon and was very proud of what she achieved. She was also an artist in watercolor, ceramics and needlework.
Susan is survived by her daughters, Cheri (husband, Tom) Hollibaugh, Lynda McCully and Ronda Hill; and her son, Robert Bob Vogt, all of Bend, OR. Other survivors include her sister, Marty Copper of Victorville, CA; five grandchildren, April Stentzel (McCully) of Bend, OR, Zack McCully of Adin, CA, Tom Dunaway of Santa Rosa, CA, Heather Linehan (Kamp) of Bend, OR and Robbie Kamp of Bend, OR; and two great-grandsons. She is preceded in death by her husband, H.P. Jones; and her father, Judd Kinney.
