Betty Foppiano

Jan. 7, 1928 - Dec. 28, 2012

Betty Faye Foppiano (Braaten) crossed the threshold of death, peacefully in her sleep at home in Bend, OR. She is survived by her husband, Will; sons, John Cudlipp and James Klee (Fran); daughter, Deborah Jacques (Edwin); two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Betty was born in Spokane, WA, to Peter and Eva Braaten. Some of Betty's happiest memories were of her time as a Rally Girl attending Roosevelt High School in Portland, OR, and her time spent with friends at the Oregon coast. Will and Betty were married 49 years, living in Portland, McMinnville, Sandy and Bend, OR. Betty had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. In 1996, Will and Betty owned a sailboat and lived on it in Baja, Mexico. Her love and friendship will be missed by all who knew her. At her request, there will be no service.
