Ronald Lynn Cronen passed away on Dec. 28, 2012, in Helena, Montana, surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born to Conley and Janice Cronen in Bend, Oregon, on Nov. 25, 1954. He attended Young School, Bend Middle School and Bend High School. Ron enjoyed telling stories, which always included his amusing gestures. Ron worked at the Silver City Sawmill and other sawmills in Oregon during his life. He also worked in Portland, Oregon, at Metro Medals for many years. Ron had many friends and a big heart and always tried to help people. Ron loved his family, especially his children, and always took a lot of time to visit them.
He is survived by his children, Audra May Cronen, Tara Lynn Cronen (grandchild, Jaiden Cronen), Robert Conley Cronen, Justin Cronen, all of Portland, Oregon; and daughter, Rhonda Lynn Cronen of Helena, Montana. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Cronen (Jurita), of Rogue River, Oregon; Gary Cronen and Daryl Cronen (Lucille) of Bend, Oregon, Ray Cronen (Pam) of Helena, Montana; and many nieces and nephews.
His nieces, Jennifer Brown and Melissa Newlon, her husband, Chris, and Pastor Paul were by his side at the time of his passing.
Ron left us too young, and will be missed by us all.
Services will be held in Portland, Oregon at a later date.
